U.S. has announced ban on lithium batteries in planes

The US Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation Administration has announced a ban on lithium batteries
U.S. FAA, banned, banned lithium batteries,
travelling in and out of US. The policy is that no lithium batteries above 30% charge should be stored in the cargo plane nor in the cargo bay of passenger plane.
The passengers travelling will not be affected by the policy because you are allowed to carry extra batteries inside your cabin bag but you will be not allowed to keep batteries in the bag which will be going in the cargo hold. Since the battery can affect other inflammable items inside the cargo bay,  in 2017 FAA was asked to look into the issue. They found out that electronic devices when kept with inflammable items can cause fire and explosion. This is a notable change in policy after the Samsung Note 7 was banned.
This rule though will affect people who order batteries online. Now there may be a delay in delivery of your product.
