UTS railway app for booking Local train and platform ticket online

UTS or Unreserved train reservation system has launched a new app called 'UTS'. This app is available for download on play store and ios app store. To book a ticket on UTSonmobile app you have to download the app and sign-in to the app. 

Booking ticket on UTS mobile app, select the option book ticket on the screen;

There will be 5 options lets see what they are;

• Normal booking- This booking can be used for local ticket bookings. In this you have two option; Book and travel [paperless]-This option can be used when you are outside the station and GPS should be enabled on the phone (bonus tip-be at least 100 m away from the station). Book and print[paper]-This option is used when you are going to print the ticket manually from the ticket window. You are just doing the payment online.
• Quick booking- Its used when you have saved certain routes in the app, you just have to select the route on which you have to travel and make the payment. No such hassle of selecting the stations manually. 
• Platform ticket-This is the same as a normal booking, just you are booking a platform ticket that's the only difference.  
• Season ticket- Same as above procedure. Just its a pass for a longer period of time.

Cancel ticket

      This option is used to cancel the ticket that you have booked.

Booking History

      In this, you can see the past booked tickets.

R-wallet(UTS online wallet recharge).

     In this case, you can recharge the wallet using the debit card, credit card, etc. Use it to see your current balance, recharge history, surrendering wallet.

Profile

• Change city- Change your location to the city you are staying in.
• Change frequent travel-In this you can delete the quick booking routes.
• Change journey details-In this option you can default the option while booking the ticket. 
• Change password-If you forget your password.
• Change handset request- Transfer the app from old phone to new phone.
• Change personal details-modify your personal details.
• Sync ticket- Refresh the app to show your new ticket.

Show booked ticket

       You can see the past tickets you have booked. To use this option you don't need the network. Just show this ticket whenever the TC asks.
